About Hex Encoding

Hex encoding represents each byte as two hexadecimal digits (0–9 and A–F). This tool converts text to UTF-8 bytes before encoding, so Chinese and other Unicode text are supported.

For decoding, each byte must contain two hex digits. For example, 48 65 6c 6c 6f decodes to Hello.

All processing happens in your browser. Hex encoding is not encryption.
